Charissa makes budgeting easy and simplified!!
This conference provided so much variety in topics and speakers. Great value too!
Charissa has assembled an amazing group of ladies to help us on our journey of budgeting and handling our money in a way that is honoring our family and pleasing to God. I’m so glad I purchased this conference!
This is an excellent resource for anyone needing basic financial guidance.

I’m just new to this program and though it seems a little over whelming to me alot of info quickly but Carissa seems to be very good at replying to my emails and my concerns. I’m looking forward to putting all her ideas to work for me and my budget!
Charissa's materials are more than 'user friendly'--I feel like I've left the perpetual 'walk of shame' about financial management to join a winning team of successful practicing home economists! Go Smart and Frugal Moms!
Budgeting Made Easy covered topics from bare bones budgeting to multiple income streams to the importance of using busy seasons to enjoy the ones less so. Charissa covered all the topics equally without getting preachy or talking down at the reader. At times this book felt like I was speaking with an older sister or mentor.
This is a good starting point to get you focused on your expenses and budget. Glad I found it.
I just signed up for the POYD challenge, and I am so impressed with the workbook you have provided! It is simple, understandable and well-designed to make following the plan a breeze! I love the fabulous list of articles on the blog which really give testimony and depth to the process and JOY of living debt free! I encourage anyone struggling with debt or "just never getting ahead" to take the POYD challenge and read your articles.
Thanks for the great work that you do and the wonderful resources you provide!
Thanks again I'm excited to be doing this challenge. Much needed help for me. :)
Charissa is great! She has helped me get my debt inline and find extra cash in my budget.
Really enjoyed this first class! Looking forward to getting February paychecks and expenses budgeted before the end of this week!
Received your email. Looking forward to reviewing the worksheet and making positive change in 2020
We're finally catching up on our bills that were behind and once we do that we'll be putting money towards savings and debts. I do use your method and it has helped so much. I've even been able to get my husband on board too!
I cannot say enough about Charissa! Such a friendly person and willing to put things in perspective! I've tried every budget tool, app, and program out there and never really found anything that I really understood! But Charissa explains irregular income in a way that even I can understand it! I finally have an actual budget made up and have a plan for the lean months! So glad I found her page, I highly recommend her to anyone who's struggling on an irregular income!
I was so happy. I finally understand how I should budget for our circumstances. Seriously! Your help has been so awesome! We're watching the 3rd video tonight.
One thing about your “Budgeting Made Easy...” and the Bare Bones Budget-sheet, it was really helpful for me, because I always put food last, eat if we can.
So glad to find someone to help me with budgeting who gets me! Every one of your bullet points for people you connect the most with fit me to a T. I'm looking forward to working through your Budgeting Made Easy book.
Thank you for the budget sheets
I know have a place to start!
I had numerous credit card debts some decades old. I felt trapped in a spiraling cycle of debt and no way out but finally, I was debt free in 2012. This was due largely in part to the good financial counselling and encouragement I received from Charissa. Even after the debt was paid off she was there to give good financial advice; willing to talk to me about making wise choices and how necessary it was to plan for the future. Today I remain debt free, freedom peace of mind and a sense of being able to control my finances.
Hi Charissa, today is a day of celebration, that took me almost 3 years to get too, but I paid off all my debt. With the sale of several high value items, I was able to become debt free. I followed your recommendation of paying off the smallest card first, kept them paid off and didn't use them again. Then one by one I was able to do it. Plus I was able to pay cash for my air conditioner without financing it. Thank you for ministering to me about my finances. It's the first time in a long time, that I've been able to give generously and it feels really good. You're a part of my celebration.
Thank you for your response. I did receive the book and have been reading it. Thanks so much for your help. I am working to pay off debt and have been working part-time jobs as well. I think I just needed to reach out. I will make it; I have survived so much and am still persevering. You and women like you are very inspiring.
I love your book. It's so encouraging and I can tell that you really care about the people you wrote it for. The section on how God will take care of you when you don't know how you will make ends meet really struck a chord with me. My husband and I are Christians and we know that God will see us through but it's sometimes easy to get lost in the details of day to day life. We need to always remember that the Lord won't let us starve or be without what we truly need. Thanks for your great book and especially that encouragement.
I personally liked the Emotional side of the book. I think too often we don't talk about the emotional side of money and yet that's where we get tripped up 99 times out of 100. Most of our buying impulses are emotional, right? So why in the Sam Hill wouldn't we talk about the emotional side of money/budgeting/saving/buying, etc. It only makes sense!
There's only been one other that I've really liked as much and found as helpful. They both do a wonderful job of incorporating our Lord and our faith into the message. Also, I like that they include messages of care for self in mind, body and spirit. All are equally important.
